# Cost unit exception improvements and workflow reliability updates

This release included a larger set of workflow and reliability improvements.

**Cost unit exceptions**
- Faster and more stable screen behavior.
- Better handling of invalid data when employees, roles, or approvers no longer exist.
- Improved search, sorting, and usability for maintaining many exceptions.

**Other fixes and changes**
- Resolved verification errors in two-factor payment approval scenarios.
- Corrected comment counters so all relevant comments are counted.
- Rolled out 4-eyes approval with fallback-step support in workflow configuration.
