# Slack app support for Approval tasks

Approval now supports Slack-based task notifications and actions.

After enabling the Visma.net Approval app in Slack, users can receive task messages and act directly from Slack, including approve, reject, and open in Approval for full context.

This shortens response time for routine approvals and reduces context switching for users already working in Slack.

At the time of release, Slack notifications and in-message task handling were available in production for Visma users.
