# Skip cost unit and centralized settings page

This release introduces two functional updates.

**Skip cost unit**
System administrators can mark specific cost unit roles as skipped in assigned approver combinations. Skipped roles are excluded from active routing while still being shown in the workflow graph with a clear status.

If all steps are skipped, the document is approved immediately and appears in overview screens without creating approval tasks.

**Centralized settings page**
User settings are now gathered on one page with sections for:
- notifications,
- substitutes,
- preferences.

This keeps existing options but improves visibility and reduces navigation between screens.
