Approval now validates approvers in workflow configuration and flags users who no longer have the required role access.
In Configuration > Workflows, affected workflows are marked and invalid users are highlighted directly in the relevant areas, including workflow steps, exceptions, and 4-eyes approval assignments.
Administrators can resolve issues by:
- removing individual invalid users, or
- using Remove all invalid approvers to clean all invalid assignments in one action.
This reduces the risk of blocked documents caused by missing valid approvers and makes workflow maintenance faster.
