# Transaction extract

We have updated and improved the Transaction extract report. 

**Key Updates:**
- **Renaming**: The report has been renamed from Data extract to Transaction extract.
- **New filter option**: You can now generate and download the report for a single employee.
- **Background processing**: The report now functions similarly to the Claim Download report. It will be generated in the background.
- **File retention**: Generated files will now be stored and available for download for 7 days before being cleared.
