# New currency exchange rate setting

We've added a new company setting that controls how much employees can adjust the currency exchange rate when registering expenses.

You'll find it under Settings → Company configuration → Claim registration settings:

**Exchange rate:** Limit exchange rate changes to 10% of the system rate.
- Off: Employees can change the exchange rate freely when registering expenses.
- On: Employees can't change the exchange rate by more than 10% when registering expenses.
