# Add employees without a Finnish Social Security number to Finnish companies

It is now possible to add Swedish employees to Finnish companies. Previously, this was not possible because a Finnish Social Security number was required for all employees.

**What's new:**
- A new **Non-Finnish employee** toggle on the employee indicates that the employee is not Finnish, so a Finnish Social Security number is not required.

**Good to know:**
- Employees without a Finnish Social Security number must be reported manually to the Incomes Register.
- These employees are excluded from the Incomes register report.

**Who it applies to:** Finnish companies only.
