Business NXT GraphQL plugin

The Business NXT GraphQL plugin connects GAiA to Business NXT data and features through the Business NXT GraphQL API.

Depending on your access and the capabilities enabled for your company, GAiA can use the plugin to:

Find information about customers, suppliers, invoices, orders, products, inventory, balances, budgets, financial reports, vouchers, and company settings
Check whether the relevant data is available to you
Create or update supported Business NXT records through staged changes

You can ask about areas such as:

Customers, suppliers, contacts, and delivery addresses
Products, prices, discounts, and inventory
Sales and purchase orders
Invoices, vouchers, payments, and accounting information
Budgets, balances, and financial reports
Company settings and other Business NXT reference data

For example, you can ask GAiA to find a customer, compare figures for two periods, check an invoice, or prepare a supported change to a record. GAiA checks the available data and your existing Business NXT permissions before working with the information.

Changes and approval

When an operation changes data, GAiA prepares the changes for your review instead of saving them immediately. Therefore after GAiA makes a change you can review the changes in the layouts before saving. GAiA can also save for you, if you approve it.

Review the proposed changes carefully before approving them. The plugin respects your existing Business NXT permissions and access to the selected company.

Enable the plugin

You must explicitly enable the GraphQL plugin and the related AI features in Business NXT before GAiA can use these capabilities.
