The Dialogue feature allows you to engage in threaded conversations, similar to a messaging app, with your accounting office or relevant parties within your company. You can create new dialogues, participate in existing ones, and manage their status and visibility. ### Navigating to Dialogue 1. Access the **HRM** section of the application. 2. Select the **Dialogue** tab. * This will display the main Dialogue list screen. ### Dialogue List Screen **Header Area:** * **Tab Menu**: "Dialogue" & "Employees". * **Three-Dot Menu**: Accesses options for creating new dialogues and filtering the list. **Body Area:** * **Dialogue List**: Displays a list of ongoing and past conversations. Grouped by company (if you have access to multiple companies) * Each item in the list shows: * **Title**: The subject of the dialogue. * **Participant(s)**: Who is involved in the conversation. * **Message Count**: The number of messages in the thread. * **Status Badges**: Visual indicators such as *For Approval, Linked to wage run, Approved, or Rejected* may be displayed. **Interaction Options (Dialogue List Screen):** * **Filtering Dialogues**: 1. Tap the **three-dot menu** (top-right). 2. Select an option to filter dialogues by status (e.g., *Active, Completed*). *→ The list will update to show only dialogues matching the selected filter.* * **Creating a New Dialogue**: 1. Tap the **three-dot menu**. 2. Select **"New dialogue"**. *→ The “Create new dialogue” screen opens.* 3. On the "Create new dialogue" screen: * Enter a **Title** for the dialogue. * Select a **Company** (if you have access to more than one). * Optionally, **link** the dialogue to a specific wage run if applicable. 4. Tap **"Create"**. *→ A new, empty dialogue thread is created and automatically opened for you to start the conversation.* * **Opening an Existing Dialogue**: * Tap any dialogue in the list to open it and view the full conversation history. ### Dialogue Thread Screen **Header Area:** * **Dialogue Title**: Displays the title of the current conversation. * **Back Arrow**: Navigates back to the Dialogue list. * **Three-Dot Menu (for owners)**: If you are the owner of the dialogue, this menu provides options to manage it. **Body Area:** * **Message History**: Shows all messages in the thread, with sender name and timestamp for each. * **Message Input Field**: A field at the bottom, labeled **"Add a message"**, to type your reply or new message. **Interaction Options (Dialogue Thread Screen):** * **Participating in a Dialogue (Sending Messages)**: 1. Type your message in the **"Add a message"** input field. 2. Tap the **Send** button/icon. *→ Your message appears in the thread, and the dialogue list will reflect the updated message count and activity.* * **Updating Dialogue Status (Approval/Rejection)**: * If a dialogue has the status **"For Approval"**: 1. Open the dialogue. 2. Type “OK” or “Approved” in the message field and send it. *→ The dialogue status will update to **Approved** in the list view.* 3. Alternatively, type “Rejected” and send it. *→ The dialogue status will update to **Rejected** in the list view.* * **Managing Your Owned Dialogues**: * If you are the **owner** of the dialogue: 1. Open the dialogue thread. 2. Tap the **three-dot menu** within the thread. 3. Choose from the available options: - **Edit dialogue**: Modify the title or wage-run link. Remember to **Save** your changes. - **Delete dialogue**: Permanently remove the dialogue and its history. - **Mark as complete**: Archive the dialogue.
