Login & Logout

This section describes the login and logout procedures for the Visma Manager app, along with related functionalities like language selection and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Login Screen

• Select Logon: Tap button to login.
• Language Selection: Option to set or override the app language. Supported languages include Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Dutch, and English.
  Note

  The default language is usually determined by your device’s language settings. If the device language is not supported, English will be used by default.

• Accessibility Statement: A link to view the app’s accessibility statement.
• Version Number: The full app version is displayed in the bottom right corner.

Credentials Entry View

• Email Address Field: Enter the email address associated with your Visma services.
• SSO (Single Sign On): If you have SSO enabled it will be displayed here.
  Note

  If SSO is not enabled, please contact your administrator.

• Password Field: Enter your password.
  • Forgot your Password: An option to recover or reset your password.
• Sign In Button: Press to proceed with authentication.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) View:

• If Two-Factor Authentication is enabled for your account, you will be prompted to enter a verification code from your authenticator app or SMS.

Interaction Options

• Logging In:

  1. Tap the “Select Logon” icon/button.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Enter your password.
  4. Tap “Sign in”.
  5. If prompted, complete the 2FA verification. → Upon successful login, the app will open, displaying features relevant to your user roles.
     Note

     The tabs and features visible after login (e.g., Approval, HRM, Autopay) depend on the roles assigned to your user account. See Roles for more details.

• Changing Language:

  • Look for a language selection option on the initial login screen to override the default language.

• Cancelling Login Flow:

  • Tap the “X” / Cancel button (When available during the login process) to return to the main login screen.

• Logging Out:

  1. Navigate to the app’s settings.
  2. Select the “Logout” option. → You will be returned to the login screen.
