Settings

Configure application settings, access legal information, and find help.

The Settings screen in the Visma Manager app allows you to customize various aspects of the application, access important legal documents, get help, and provide feedback.

Settings Screen Layout

The screen is generally divided into logical sections for different types of settings and information.

Body Area (Options List):

  • Language

    • Function: Allows you to switch the application language.
    • Details: Supported languages are typically English, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and Dutch. The app usually defaults to your device language or English if the device language is not supported.
  • Legal Information

    • 3rd-party licences:
      • Function: Displays a list of third-party software components used within the app.
      • Details: Each item in the list usually links to the respective license for that component.
    • Terms of Service (TOS):
      • Function: Displays the application’s Terms of Service.
      • Details: Provides access to the full TOS document, often with links to external resources if applicable.
  • Help and Updates

    • Function: This section is intended to provide users with help resources or information about app updates.
    • Details: (Specific content for this section, such as links to FAQs, support contacts, or update changelogs, would be detailed here based on the app’s implementation.)
  • Feedback

    • Function: Allows you to provide feedback about the application.
    • Details: Tapping this option typically opens a page within the app (using an embedded browser view) where you can submit your comments, suggestions, or report issues.
  • Version Number

    • Function: Displays the current version of the installed application.
    • Details: This is often a non-interactive display of the version string (e.g., “Version X.Y.Z”).

Interaction Options

  • Changing Language:

    1. Tap on the Language option.
    2. Select your desired language from the presented list. → The application interface should update to the selected language.
  • Viewing Legal Information:

    1. Tap on “3rd-party licences” or “Terms of Service”. → The respective information or document will be displayed, potentially with links to external web pages for full licenses or terms.
  • Submitting Feedback:

    1. Tap on the Feedback option. → An in-app browser view or form will open for you to write and submit your feedback.

Tap the info icon ⓘ in the top-right of the app at any time to access a quick reference guide built into each screen.
