It is now possible to add Swedish employees to Finnish companies. Previously, this was not possible because a Finnish Social Security number was required for all employees.
What’s new:
- A new Non-Finnish employee toggle on the employee indicates that the employee is not Finnish, so a Finnish Social Security number is not required.
Good to know:
- Employees without a Finnish Social Security number must be reported manually to the Incomes Register.
- These employees are excluded from the Incomes register report.
Who it applies to: Finnish companies only.
