In the Import Data module, you can create and manage Imports, and view import logs
The following options are available in the menu:
- **Data Import**: Create and manage data import. See [Creating a Data Import](./jobs).
Before you can import the data, the ERP system might require additional setup procedures.

# Create a data import
Start a manual data import by selecting companies, endpoints, and the desired time period in "Get Data."
How to Create a New Import
> [!IMPORTANT]
> Note that entries/transactions that are back-dated will not be imported into the system unless there is a data import job that retrieves for the period in which the change occurred.
> [!NOTE]
You can only create manual imports. Its not possible to create schedueled imports.
Click on **Import Data**.
In the Import Data module, you will see a list of all companies you have access to on the client you are logged into in OneStop Reporting. You can also set up an import for multiple companies simultaneously, but all companies must have the same integration (ERP system).
1. Select the company you wish to import data for.

2. Click on **Import Data**.
3. In the window that appears, you must select the endpoints you want to import data for, and the period to be imported by clicking in the dropdown box shown below.
Here you can choose between the number of days, since the beginning, or set up a custom date interval.

4. Click **Run**.

5. You have now started an import.

Pause scheduled import jobs or resume them manually via the "Get Data" settings.
You can pause scheduled import jobs to temporarily stop them from running.
> [!IMPORTANT]
The jobs will not start again until you manually choose to resume the import process.
## Steps to pause scheduled imports
1. Navigate to the **Import Data**
2. Select the companies for which you want to pause the import process.
3. Click on the three dots located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
4. Choose **Pause scheduled imports** from the dropdown menu.
## Steps to resume scheduled imports
1. Go to the **Import Data** section.
2. Select the companies you paused the import for.
3. Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner.
4. Select **Resume scheduled imports** from the dropdown.
Cancel Data Import

Immediately stop ongoing data imports via the "Get Data" menu for selected companies.

# Cancel Data Import
Immediately stop ongoing data imports via the "Get Data" menu for selected companies.
You can cancel import jobs that are currently running to stop them immediately.
How to cancel ongoing imports
1. Navigate to the **Import Data**
2. Select the companies where the import is ongoing and you want to cancel.
3. Click on the three dots located in the upper-right corner of the screen.
4. Choose **Cancel Imports** from the dropdown menu.
After completing these steps, the ongoing import will be canceled.

It's important to note that canceling an import will stop the process immediately.

## View Log for Data Import Jobs
**Troubleshooting Failed Imports**
If an import fails at one or more endpoints, or if the import takes longer than expected, you can check the logs for more information.
1. Click on the company name you want to check logs for 
2. In the window that appears, you can see all import jobs for all endpoints, including both manual and automatic jobs.
Here you can see details such as status, time, import duration per endpoint, and import period (number of days).
If an endpoint has failed, you can **hover over the exclamation mark** in the status field for that endpoint to get a more detailed error message.
