Dimension values in Data Manager

Create new dimension values in OSR dimensions and add additional information to system dimensions.

In Data Manager, you can create completely new dimension values for OSR dimensions, such as OSR scenario or OSR transaction type. You can also add supplementary information to the existing dimensions retrieved from your accounting system.

Prerequisites

The available dimensions contain OneStop Reporting additional fields. Which dimension names and additional fields are available (for example, accounts or departments) will vary depending on the ERP system.

How to proceed

  1. Go to Data Management in the main menu.
  2. Click the field to select your company, if there are multiple on the client.
  3. Navigate to the Dimensions main section on the left side of the screen.
  4. Click on the dimension you want to view or add values to.
  5. Click Add row to create a new line in the dimension table. Note that this only applies to OSR dimensions. Other dimensions must be created in your system.
  6. Fill in the columns with the new data. You can use the extension fields to register additional information on existing dimensions (such as an account), or create entirely new rows for currency handling, among other things.
  7. Click Save.
Note

In the dimensions originating from your system, white columns in the table are open for editing, while columns > marked in gray cannot be edited. The gray columns retrieve data from the ERP system.

The new dimension values and additional data are saved and become available for budgeting and reporting.
