How to retrieve and analyze data

Click on the GAiA symbol to open the AI assistant.

Prerequisites: You must be a Design User or have the “Edit content” permission to access your accounting data through GAiA.

You can retrieve data such as postings, balances, and budgets directly from your company. GAIA helps you refine your analyses by filtering on dimensions like accounts, periods, departments, projects, customers, suppliers, or other desired fields. You can also add groupings and aggregations for better insight. To work further with the numbers, you can click to transfer the result to the Data Explorer.

Gaia has access to context, such as your company’s chart of accounts. This enables it to find information that is relevant to your company.

Building reports and queries

You can easily create structured queries to extract exactly the data you need. You can sort and limit your results—for example, to find your top five customers measured by revenue.
