Restriction groups by item (IN103020)

In this window, you can view the restriction groups that contain a particular item.
This topic provides information about the elements in this window in Visma Net, such as fields, field values, buttons, and check boxes.

In this window, you can view the restriction groups that contain a particular item. You can also change the visibility of the item in the system by including it in other restriction groups or excluding it from groups that currently contain it.

Note

You can create restriction groups for managing the visibility of items by using the Item access (IN103000) window.

The top part

In this area, you can select the item for which you want to view or edit its membership in restriction groups. You can also view additional information about the selected item.

ElementDescription
Item IDThe identifier of the item whose membership in restriction groups you want to view (and edit, if needed) in the table.
DescriptionRead-only. The description of the selected item.
Item classRead-only. The item class of the selected item.
Item statusRead-only. The status of the selected item.
Stock itemRead-only. A check box that indicates (if selected) that the selected item is a stock item.

The table

In this table, you can view the full list of restriction groups in the system, along with some basic information about each group. The check box in the unlabelled Included column is selected for each group that contains the item. You can select and clear these check boxes to change the membership of the item in restriction groups.

ColumnDescription
Group nameRead-only. The name of the restriction group.
DescriptionRead-only. The description of the restriction group.
ActiveRead-only. A check box that indicates (if selected) that the restriction group is active. The system does not enforce restrictions imposed by inactive groups.
Group typeRead-only. The type of the restriction group: A, A inverse, B, or B inverse. For more information, see: About types of restriction groups.
