Configure access rights for a selected user role

You use the Access rights by role (SM201025) window to set up access rights to multiple system objects (such as workspaces, windows, and window elements) for a customized role in Visma Net.
The following procedure describes the steps to set up access rights for a single user role, that you have customized in Visma Net. Predefined roles are managed from Admin.
Go to the Access rights by role (SM201025) window.
Select a user role in the Role name field.
In the System tree, click the system object to which you need to set up access rights as follows:
Click the Company name node.
Click the name of a necessary workspace.
For a window: Expand the node of a necessary workspace to the window level, and click the name of the workspace.
For a window element: Expand the node of the necessary workspace to the window element level, and click one of the following:
- The window name, if you are setting up access rights to a container of window elements (that is, a sub-form, a tab, or a grid).
- The name of the container of window elements, if you are setting up access rights for a window element (that is, a text field or an action).
In the right pane, for the row with the required system object, select the level of access rights from the drop-down list. For details, see: About levels of access rights.

.Repeat steps 2–5 for each system object to which you need to set up access rights for the selected role.
