About dashboards and widgets
In Visma Net, a dashboard is a collection of widgets that are displayed on a single page and are designed to give you needed information at a glance. A widget is a small component that delivers a particular type of information that you view or manage by using Visma Net. From the dashboard, you can click any widget to further explore the information it contains. The page that displays the collection of widgets is referred to as a Dashboard page.
Dashboards may serve different purposes, and if you have appropriate permissions, you can create dashboards that display information from a variety of sources, including Visma Net inquiries and even external pages. If the source of the information shown on the dashboard is an Visma Net window, the data from the window can be displayed in various types of charts and tables, with the data filtered to meet the particular selection criteria according to your needs.

Types of widgets
You can add the following types of widgets to the dashboards:
- Charts
- Graphical representations of data from Visma Net windows. You can use charts of various types, such as bar charts and line charts.
- Data tables
- Data from an Visma Net window arranged into rows and columns.
- Embedded pages
- Documents or images that are stored on external resources, such as cloud storage, and should be displayed on an Visma Net dashboard.
- Power BI tiles
- Charts, scorecards, and other analytical information that is represented on Power BI dashboards designed by your organization.
- Scorecard KPIs
- Parameters that are important for the business processes of your organisation and that should be monitored on a daily basis.
- Trend card KPIs
- Parameters whose dynamic change is important for business processes of your organisation.
