# Books (FA205000)

Last modified February 19, 2026

> In this window, you can create, edit, or delete depreciation books for fixed assets.

This topic provides information about the elements in this window in Visma Net, such as fields, field values, buttons, and check boxes.

In this window, you can create, edit, or delete depreciation books for fixed assets.
Also, you
use this window to select the posting book that updates the general ledger.

All depreciable assets must be assigned to the posting book.
You can also assign depreciable
assets to multiple depreciation books, if needed. For more information about configuring
fixed asset depreciation settings in Visma Net, see: [About depreciation of fixed assets](https://docs.vismasoftware.no/visma-net-erp/help/fixed-assets/manage-fixed-asset-depreciation/about-depreciation-of-fixed-assets/index.md)
