# Import consolidation data (GL509000)

This topic provides information about the elements in this window in Visma Net, such as fields, field values, buttons, and check boxes.

This window is used by the parent company to import consolidation data from its consolidation units.
Data is imported for all open periods, and only data posted to the ledgers of the consolidation units after the previous consolidation is imported to the specified consolidation ledger of the parent company.

For access to the unit's website and automatic importing, the system uses information provided in the [Consolidation (GL103000)](https://docs.vismasoftware.no/visma-net-erp/help/general-ledger/general-ledger-windows/consolidation-gl103000/index.md) window.

This window is available only if the **General ledger consolidation** check box is selected in the [Enable/disable functionalities (CS100000)](https://docs.vismasoftware.no/visma-net-erp/help/common-settings/enable-or-disable-functionalites/enable-disable-functionalities-cs100000/index.md) window.
