# Manage allocations

> Handling allocations manually can be time-consuming and error-prone.


By using Visma Net, you can create and maintain allocation templates (which define how the allocations are to be performed) and perform allocations automatically according to your definitions.

This functionality is available only if the **Allocation templates** functionality is enabled in the [Enable/disable functionalities (CS100000)](https://docs.vismasoftware.no/visma-net-erp/help/common-settings/enable-or-disable-functionalites/enable-disable-functionalities-cs100000/index.md) window.
