# Run allocations

> Go to the Run allocations (GL504500) window. In the Allocation date field, select the date of the allocation. In the Post period field, select the financial period that you want to view and process allocations for. To process specific allocations, select the check box in front of the allocations you want to process. Click Process. The system generates batches for the selected allocations. To process all allocations, you do not have to select them, just click Process all.


1. Go to the [Run allocations (GL504500)](https://docs.vismasoftware.no/visma-net-erp/help/general-ledger/general-ledger-windows/run-allocations-gl504500/index.md) window.
1. In the **Allocation date** field, select the date of the allocation.
1. In the **Post period** field, select the financial period that you want to view and process allocations for.
1. To process specific allocations, select the check box in front of the allocations you want to process.
1. Click **Process**. The system generates batches for the selected allocations. To process all allocations, you do not have to select them, just click **Process all**.
