# Create a position

> Go to the Positions (EP201000) window. Click . In the Position ID field, enter an ID for the new position. This ID can consist of 10 numbers and/or letters. In the Description field, enter a name. Click .

1. In the **Position ID** field, enter an ID for the new position. This ID can consist of 10 numbers and/or letters.
1. In the **Description** field, enter a name.
