Go to the [Common tasks (PM208030)](/visma-net-erp/help/project-accounting/project-accounting-windows/common-tasks-pm208030/) window. 1. Click ![icon-add](/media/visma-net-erp/icon-add.png). 1. In the **Task ID** field, enter an ID for the common task you want to create. This can be a ten-character string of letters and numbers. 1. In the **Description** field, enter a description for the common task. 1. On the **General settings** tab, in the **Rate table** field, select a rate table. 1. Select an **Invoicing option**. 1. Optional: When you add a common task, the settings for the **Invoicing rule** and **Allocation rule** will be inherited from the project settings. It is not necessary to set different rules, but if you do, the project settings will be overruled. 1. Optional: Fill in any other information you want to specify, on the other tabs. 1.
