# Release transactions (PM501000)

This topic provides information about the elements in this window in Visma Net, such as fields, field values, buttons, and check boxes.

The system automatically posts the transactions if the **Automatically post on release** check box is selected in the [Project accounting preferences (PM101000)](https://docs.vismasoftware.no/visma-net-erp/help/project-accounting/project-accounting-windows/project-accounting-preferences-pm101000/index.md) window.
