To add a new depreciation table method with annual depreciation, you use the Depreciation table methods (FA202600) window to add a method of the both type that is used to specify both the settings of the depreciation methods and the annual depreciation rates.

To add a new depreciation table method with annual depreciation, you use the Depreciation table methods (FA202600) window to add a method of the both type that is used to specify both the settings of the depreciation methods and the annual depreciation rates.

To add a new depreciation table method with annual depreciation, you use the [Depreciation table methods (FA202600)](/visma-net-erp/help/fixed-assets/fixed-asset-windows/depreciation-table-methods-fa202600/) window to add a method of the **both**
type that is used to specify both the settings of the depreciation methods and the
annual depreciation rates.
Such methods use the **Full year** or **Mid year**
averaging conventions.
1. Go to the [Depreciation table methods (FA202600)](/visma-net-erp/help/fixed-assets/fixed-asset-windows/depreciation-table-methods-fa202600/) window.
1. In the **Depreciation method ID** field, type the name of the new method.
1. In the **Record type** field, select the **Both** type.
1. In the **Useful life, years** and **Recovery period** fields, specify the supposed asset useful life in years and month accordingly.
1. In the **Description** field, specify the description of the asset.
1. In the **Averaging convention** field, select a **Full year** or **Mid year** averaging convention.
1. In the **Convention period** field, type 1.
1. In the table, type the rates for the recovery years.
The sum of rates, displayed in the **Total percent** field, must be 100 percent.
