Notifications
In the Notifications window you can set your preferences for email notifications. Visma.net Approval uses email notifications and reminders to inform you about pending tasks.
You can choose which kind of email notifications you wish to receive.
Depending on your role, some notifications will not be available. If you have both the Approver and the System Administrator role you can use all notifications mentioned below.
Email notifications for the Approver role
A notification as soon as
- There is a new approval task for me: An email each time an approval task is assigned to you.
- I am appointed as someone’s substitute: An email to indicate you are appointed as someone’s substitute and will receive tasks assigned to that person. See: About Substitutes
A daily reminder of
- Soon overdue tasks: An email with tasks that are soon overdue or already overdue. You can choose how many days before the due date you want to receive this reminder in the Preferences window.
A reminder with approval tasks on
An overview of all pending tasks regardless of when they are due. Choose the day and time you wish to receive this email.
Email notifications for the System Administrator role
A notification as soon as
- A task becomes blocked for a user: An email is sent each time a task becomes blocked. This is a type of task that is assigned to an unknown user or a user with no approver rights. For more information about reassigning blocked tasks, see: Task overview.
- A document is blocked: Documents for which no workflow can be generated, or documents that are assigned to an approver that does not exist. For more information about common reasons for blocked comments and how to fix them, see: Document overview.
